TMP Guide ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at tmpguide.com. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled. We do not sell your personal data.
Email address — If you request a sign-in link, sign in to the Service, or ask us to email you a preset, we collect the email address you provide. Verified sign-in emails and preset-email recipients may be added to our marketing mailing list (powered by Brevo) so we can send occasional updates about TMP Guide. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails.
Usage data — We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics such as pages visited, browser type, and general geographic region. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
IP address — Your IP address is temporarily used for rate limiting and bot protection (via hCaptcha). We do not store IP addresses long-term.
User-submitted queries and generated preset metadata — Text you enter into the AI Tone Builder or AI Manual is sent to our server for processing by third-party AI services (OpenAI and Google Gemini). We may log queries and generated preset metadata to improve service quality, operate the Service, and enforce our terms. Preset provenance records are associated with the signed-in account that requested them.
Account and billing data — If you sign in, we maintain account state through a session cookie and related account records. If paid subscriptions are enabled and you subscribe, billing and subscription records are processed by Stripe.
We use the following third-party services that may process your data according to their own privacy policies:
We use an HTTP-only session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated. We also use cookies set by Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, and hCaptcha may set cookies for bot detection. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.
We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Some third-party services we use may collect information over time and across sites according to their own policies.
Email addresses remain in our Brevo mailing list until you unsubscribe. Session and account records are retained as needed to operate the Service. Preset provenance records may be retained to enforce our terms. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' settings. Rate-limiting data is temporary and resets daily.
We do not sell your personal data. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the Service, process requests, send emails, prevent abuse, run analytics, and, if applicable, process subscriptions.
You may request deletion of your data or unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by reaching out through the contact form.
TMP Guide is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
